Excellent service, excellent food, excellent ambiance, excellent everything 😃 The pork mozzarella was out of this world, I would recommend it highly.
This is a really awesome little place in the heart of Nairobi where you can enjoy good food and not dent your account. It's perfect for a romantic date with your partner, or a family lunch.
They boast an exhaustive variety of food, starters, pizza and drinks that will no doubt leave a piece of Italy deep within you. Physiologically.

Best Italian restaurant pretty much in the entire county. The ambiance is very serene and the service is really great. The food is very delicious and does the Italian flavours justice. They are quite overwhelmingly generous with their food. I would recommend anyone to visit.

Trattoria Restaurant is one of Nairobi's iconic family-run Italian gem since 1981. It serves authentic cuisine like homemade pasta, wood-fired pizzas, T-bone steak, and tiramisu in a cozy, welcoming ambiance. The staffs are fast and excellent. They serve generous portions and it has already relocated to Kaunda Street.

The best Authentic Italian cuisine in Nairobi. Apparently the place has been around for almost 50 years. Sitting on the veranda sipping Cappuccinos is an excellent way to watch busy Nairobi pass you by.

Fantastic little place. The food is excellent. The feeling is Old Nairobi. I love when standards are kept. The owner loves this place - and you can tell. Super.

Not only the food alone ...
If you like authentic Italian food, the ‘Trattoria’ is the perfect place for you. Here, for example, you can find the best spaghetti carbonara outside Italy – and if you like, you can finish off with a doppio espresso macchiato, which rarely tastes as good as it does here. What makes this place really special is the senior member of staff. Charming, delightful, extremely attentive and never intrusive – the good old school that has become rare. Communication without snapping fingers or waving, but simply through brief eye contact. It is a real delight. You want to go there just for this gentleman. But of course also for the food. :-)

This Italian restaurant has been serving guests for 40 years, remarkable. So you would expect some reviews are a bit negative. I've been here twice, but this was the best. Not a lot of guests but the atmosphere here is just great. Entering gives you respect for this establishment. And our visit just acknowledged that. It was in the afternoon, so we just wanted something easy to eat. We shared a pizza, I had 1/2 liter of wine, my beautiful wife had a beer. Staying at the restaurant for 2 hrs, leaving with a bill of 8000 kshs was worth it. 👌 By the way, what's on the menu, is what you can buy. Marvellous place.
I'll be back shortly.
I've now discovered that the restaurant has down sized and moved. I've visited the new place, and the quality of the food is still good, but the menu is not as big as the previous place, but as I understand they will increase it.

Over 40 years in the game, and still the gold standard for authentic Italian dining. The Caprese salad was so fresh and flavorful we ended up buying mozzarella to take home! The pasta was perfectly al dente, the grilled vegetables full of flavor, and the service warm and effortless. Cozy ambience, timeless charm — a solid 5*

It was my second day in Kenya, and I had a beautiful time in this amazing Italian restaurant! I should say that I'm Italian and I'm travelling. I did not expect to find excellent Italian food abroad. I tried the local pizza and beer, so yummy! The best part was the service. Valentino looked after me and made sure that everything was on point. A special thanks to him. I highly recommend to visit this restaurant if you have the chance ❤️
